SPORTS PHYSICALS

Any girls interested in trying out for volleyball at Grand Ledge High School or Hayes Middle School MUST have a completed sports physical form on file or with them on the FIRST day of tryouts  The Michigan High School Athletic Association Medical History Form to take to your sports physical is available by clicking here.

Sports physicals must be completed on or after April 15, 2010 in order to be eligible to participate in tryouts in the Fall 2010 sports season.

HAYES MIDDLE SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL

Middle school volleyball is now a FALL sport and girls basketball is now a winter sport to coincide with boys basketball.  It's time to get ready for the Fall volleyball season in Grand Ledge!

Tryouts for girls who want to participate in 7th and 8th grade volleyball will begin the second day of school at Hayes Middle School.  Exact information on tryout times for each grade level will be posted sometime in August both on www.glvolleyball.com and www.glps.k12.mi.us (under the Hayes page). We are pleased to have Heather Spitzley (7th grade coach) and Sarah Storm (8th grade coach) returning to our volleyball program as our middle school coaches this year! 

The Grand Ledge Volleyball Booster Club will be holding a Middle School Skills Clinic on Friday, July 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon at Aim High.  Potential players are invited to attend for a cost of $25 to learn and brush up on volleyball skills.  Instruction will be provided by GLHS Varsity Coach Bob Alim-Young and Hayes Middle School Coaches Spitzley and Storm with assistance from current GLHS volleyball players.   Complete information about the skills clinic and how to register can be obtained by clicking here.

GRAND LEDGE HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS

Tryouts for the 2010 Freshman, JV, and Varsity teams will begin on Wednesday, August 11 at Grand Ledge High School.   Please check back here soon for exact times.
